Tev means wing.
It is an Armenian word, and it is the whole idea behind the product. Editing is where most people's ideas quietly die: the footage is shot, the thought is there, and then come the hours of scrubbing, trimming and second-guessing. Tev exists to take that weight off and give the work a lift.
What we are building
Tev started with talking-head video, where the gap between what you meant to say and what ends up on screen is widest, and where the manual work is heaviest. The product has grown past that. What stayed is the principle: Tev handles the labour, you keep the judgement.
We are deliberately not building a generator. Tev does not invent footage or replace anyone on camera. It works with what you shot, it shows every decision it makes on a timeline, and it hands the file back to you in a state you can still edit. The outcome should be the one you would have reached on your own — reached sooner.
Tev is launching this autumn. Until then, progress goes up on Instagram.
